well i am home sweet home. it feels so good to be back in my own home and with my pups. but most of all i missed dave like crazy!!! i had the most amazing week with my very best girlfriends. the only friend that was missing was christina (my az bestie). but here is my backwards-semi week in review.
thursday
got to vegas early thursday morning & went to breakfast at the cracked egg with millie & kristen. it was so fun to be all back together again! millie’s sister was getting married this weekend so she had a ton of family stuff to do. after breakfast kristen and i went to coffee (starbucks-our favorite place) with meghan. meghan just got married in april so it was fun to chat and catch up about wedding stuff. after coffee i went back to kristen’s and we hung out and watched crazy people on you tube and made fun of people on facebook who take their own pictures in the mirror but try to act like they aren’t. and they take the SAME picture over and over and OVER again. i can’t remember the last time i laughed that hard. we then went to meet up with all the girls (the funky bunch) at chipotle. it was awesome seeing: kristen, meghan, naama, alisha, millie and megan. after chipotle i went back to megan’s and we drank a bottle of wine and talked until 1 am.

friday
friday was kristen’s birthday and megan had to work so kristen picked me up and we went for coffee (obviously) and to the dmv to renew kristen’s driver’s license. it was great people watching! then we went to get bagels with millie. after breakfast we went over to meghan’s for a funky bunch pool party. erin, alisha, flavia and sara came over and we had lots of sun and lots of laughs. after a day filled with birthday celebrations kristen dropped me off at megan’s so she could do some family birthday stuff and megan and i went out to dinner. we went back to megan’s and got ready to go to blue martini for kristen’s birthday party. of course we rocked out to britney all night long. it was such a fun night and all the girls were there. after lots of “beverages” we went back to megan’s and stayed up and chatted until 3 am.

saturday finally arrived! megan, lillie (her ADORABLE 9mo old daughter) and I went to get pedicures, went out to lunch and then went shopping. it was a jam packed day with a montage of all things britney including ALL britney songs (on repeat…ALL day) and watching ALL of her videos - it was fabulous. after all our errands we started getting ready for the show and her husband steve dropped us off at mgm. we started the night with ALOT of cocktails. it was megan’s first time seeing britney so she asked me: what kind of people are at this show? and i said: megan these are our people. if the world ended tonight all is right in the world because we are amongst our people. we got to the show and nicki minaj opened and then it was britney time! EVERYTHING about the show was phenomenal. words cannot even describe and my writing will not do it any justice…so I’m just going to leave it at that. after the show we went to nikki beach where britney was hosting an after party. we got all the way to the front of the massive crowd and realized that megan lost her wallet. so we went all the way back to the mgm and some how stumbled upon this guy who worked for the tour and he took us backstage to go to the security office. we got to see nicki minaj (see blurred pic below) and i got visually assulted by her body guard. long story short…we found megan’s wallet and decided to stay at cocktail-it-up at the mgm. we cabbed it home and were snuggly sound in bad dreaming of britney by 4 am.

sunday
sunday was a little rough so we just vegged out all day. made a coffee run, hung out with lillie, went to grab some lunch and then lounged some more. we mentally replayed every detail of the show and i worked on some babyKAMP ordering and emails. sunday night megan, lillie and I went to sushi with kristen. then we decided to take it easy and went and had some coffee time until about midnight.
monday
monday we had a girls day. megan, lillie, millie and kristen and i went down to caesar’s palace and went to lunch at serendipity. if you have not been there you MUST go. i had been once before because megan had her rehearsal dinner there. if there is any decor that could describe me…seredipity would be it. the atmosphere, the food and the dessert are all phenomenal. after lunch and our ice cream induced comas we went back to megan’s and watched the wild and wonderful whites of west virginia. which is absolutely crazy and wrong in so many ways…very pathetic and comical all at the same time. monday night i went over to millie’s and we hung out together at her house and grabbed dinner together.

tuesday
megan had to go back to work (but really didn’t because lillie got sick) but kristen picked me up in the morning and we went and got coffee together. we then met up with millie on her lunch break and went out to lunch. then kristen and i went to target where i showed her all my cleaning secrets for my chores (a post coming on that soon). after that we went to nordstrom where we got matching wallets. after a long morning we need to caffiene it up for one last starbucks visit where we chatted and reorganized our wallets. you know that you are best friends when you both could not be happier having coffee at starbucks and reogranizing your wallets. seriously so much fun! after that it was time to go and kristen took me the airport.
it was such a fun girls weekend and makes me miss my girlfriends so much. i love that i have summers off and can take the time to go see them. i am happy to be home to dave and my home. i am getting caught up on babyKAMP and getting ready to celebrate our 2 year anniversary!!! hope you all had a fabulous weekend!!!
